Gabriel Gurrola Photography

I met up with Ariel and Marcos Gurrola Photography on Memorial Day 09. It was short and sweet. I had a blast working with my brother. He is an awesome photographer. I went down to El Paso for the weekend.

The shoot was schedule the day before through a friend. This was all last minute stuff.

Equipment:

2 580ex ii 1 with an umbrella.

Technique:

First I adjust my power on both lights. The bare light is 2 stops brighter. The umbrella is used as the main light.  If a bare light is too strong then I physically adjust the power. By that I mean that I move the flash forward or backward. It's quicker to move the light 2 feet forward/backward than it is to adjust the controls on the speedlight.
